Last updated 6 June 2026. This notice explains how Meridian Land Ventures LLC, trading as Envelium, handles your personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Meridian Land Ventures LLC, trading as Envelium ("Envelium", "we", "us"), is an independent building envelope specialist registered in Delaware, United States. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question, contact privacy@envelium.com.
What data we collect
- Enquiry details you give through the quote form, the contact page, phone or email: your name, company, email, phone, the building address or postcode, and any photographs of the building you choose to upload.
- Details of the work you are enquiring about, so we or a vetted contractor can prepare a quote.
- Your email address if you download a guide or subscribe to updates.
- Technical and usage data from cookies and analytics, such as approximate location, device and how you use the site. See our Cookie Policy.
How and why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote or survey. Basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- To put a suitable vetted contractor on your enquiry where that is the service you are using, sharing only what is needed to quote your job. Basis: legitimate interest in providing the service you requested, and consent where required.
- To send a guide you requested and, with consent, occasional useful updates. Basis: consent, withdrawable any time via the unsubscribe link.
- To run, secure and improve the site. Basis: legitimate interest, and consent for non essential cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data for unrelated advertising. We may share it with vetted contractors for the purpose of quoting the job you enquired about; with service providers who help us operate, such as hosting, email and analytics, under contract and only on our instructions; and with authorities or advisers where legally required. Where a contractor receives your details, they become responsible for their own use of that data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and a reasonable period afterwards for our records and legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email privacy@envelium.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we ask you contact us first so we can help.
Security and international transfers
Where data is processed outside the UK by our providers, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, and we use reasonable measures including encryption in transit to protect your data.

We may update this notice and will change the date above when we do.
