Why we exist
Two things go wrong on envelope work. A cheap outfit undercuts everyone, cuts corners on access and safety, and is nowhere to be found when the render comes off two winters later. Or a large contractor wraps a building in scaffold it never needed and bills by the day until you stop asking. Envelium was built to be the third option. We put a vetted specialist on it, rope access where it makes sense, a fixed price you can take to a board, and documentation that holds up when someone asks for it.
What we do
We work on the building envelope only, the outside skin: facade cleaning, render and external wall insulation repair, masonry and stone restoration, concrete and balcony repair, and protective coatings. Drawing the line at the envelope, rather than matching general builders, is deliberate. It is how the specialists we work with stay genuinely expert, and how a managing agent knows exactly what they are getting.
How we work
- A surveyor on site within 48 hours of your enquiry, and a fixed, itemised price, never an open ended day rate.
- One named contact from enquiry to completion certificate.
- RAMS and insurance supplied before the specialist mobilises, not on request.
- A before and after pack and completion record on every match, for your files and the board.
Accreditations and standards
every specialist on your job is IRATA certified for rope access, and is required to hold or work to CHAS, SSIP, SafeContractor, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001. All carry public and employer liability cover. We check certification and insurance before any introduction, so verification is confirmed for each specialist before your enquiry reaches them.
Our people
Envelium is run by people who have spent years in the building envelope trade. We use that experience to vet our specialists, so the contractor who reaches you has already been checked on certification, insurance and recent work.
